Shark Vacuum Cleaner Compared: Model NV360 vs Model NV352
When it comes to getting a spotless home, Shark is one of the most well-known vacuum cleaner manufacturers which has built great trust in the hearts of customers. This brand indeed has many great models, ranging from uprights to cordless vacuum, however, in this article, we are going to model NV 352 and Shark vacuum NV360 reviews to tell their differences.
Similarities of both models
At a first glance, you really can’t tell the difference between Shark Navigator Deluxe NV360 and NV352. They're both bagless upright vacuum cleaners, work on hard floors and carpeted, and have the same set of included components for multiple cleaning purposes.
The Shark NV360 and NV352 are extremely useful through the help of a short crevice tool and an extension wand when it comes to hard-to-clean areas.
Both models are 45.5 inches tall, feature a lift-away function and offer two modes of operation so you can choose a cleaning method depending on floor type and area.
These vacuums use a HEPA filter and an Anti Allergen Complete Seal Technology for air filtration optimization, which are big pluses for allergy sufferers.
Plus, both are rated at 1200 watts and come with 10 amps for stable and powerful suction.
As for the design of the two models, both have solid construction with most parts made from plastic so they are relatively light. The body is quite slim, and the transparent canisters (almost the same size) are easily removed for washing. Steering swivels have great support for their ease of use.
Now, we are going to look at the details of each so it would be easier for you to make an ultimate buying decision.
Differences
You could say that the Shark vacuum model NV352 model is a compact-sized version of the Shark navigator NV360. While the Shark Navigator Deluxe NV360 weighs about 15.96 pounds, its counterpart weighs only about 12 pounds. In fact, when the two machines are in operation, the feeling of weight when holding them is quite similar because of some slight differences in the length and width of each model.
The two dust containers/canisters of both vacuums have the same capacity. However, you probably feel like you're in a fight to remove and reinstall the canister of the Shark NV352 because the mounting connection between the box and the body seems a bit flawed in terms of design. As for NV360, the canister is removed to wash quite easily.
As for the suction performance, both are equipped with Shark cyclone technology to create strong suction, removing all dirt and large debris. In our opinion, after a few test runs, we found the NV360 to be a vacuum cleaner for light and small materials like pet hair and it really stands out on hardwood floors. NV352 probably prefers to work on hard carpets, which is not too much of a problem.
Our verdict
Overall, both vacuums have their own strengths and weaknesses. Shark NV360 actually has a few unattractive points in terms of cleaning range, but in return the assembly of parts is more comfortable. In contrast, the NV352 has an impressive performance on thick carpets and carpeted stairs. Therefore, you will not be disappointed when choosing to buy either. |
